Rev. Mike Lee - Lead Pastor - [email protected]
Hello Friends, Thank you for visiting our church website. I say this with care and love that if you currently belong to another local evangelical church, I humbly encourage you to stay there, support your pastor/s and faithful serve there. On the other hand, if you are not a Christian or currently don't belong to a church, I personally invite you to visit our faith community. Those of you wanting to explore Christianity through CBC, you can expect to hear the pure Gospel preached and witness a people striving to obey God. CBC family welcomes you with open arms despite who you may be or what you may have done in the past. If you currently don't belong to a local church, come join us if you want to be part of a church that believes in making meaningful and purposeful sacrifices to win people to Jesus Christ. Come join us if you want to be part of a faith family more interested in serving God and others rather than being served. Come join us if you want to know God deeper, challenged to live out the Gospel and equipped to not only make new disciples but make disciple-makers. Come join us if you want to be part of a community made up of people committed to carrying our own cross to follow our Lord Jesus Christ. Lastly, as a Korean American pastor serving at CBC, I want you to know that CBC really does welcome people of all backgrounds. It is my hope that you will visit CBC and experience the Gospel lived out in love, truth, and grace. I look forward to getting to know you and walking alongside you in your faith journey. Sincerely, Mike Lee |

Mr. Steve Chung - Chinese Ministerial Assistant - [email protected]
Formerly I was a policeman in Hong Kong. I sought after life of entertainment and gambling. I worshiped false gods and idols with other policemen. Although I had authority, money and so much entertainment, these things didn't give me satisfaction and peace. I felt empty inside and my heart was filled with anxieties. Due to my undisciplined lifestyle, I became seriously ill. I visited different doctors many times, but my health got worse almost to the point of death. But thanks be to the Lord Jesus Christ, I came to know Jesus at the Police Christian Fellowship. I prayed and accepted Christ as my Savior. Jesus saved me from the sinful life and healed me. I thanked God and responded to God's call by being trained at the China Graduate School of Theology. God gave me the burden the sharing the gospel and doing the work of an evangelist. My ministry included: serving as a volunteer chaplain in the hospital, a pastor in a youth drug rehabilitation center, a pastor in a local church, and a ministerial staff of a gospel organization. It is most meaningful and joyful for me to lead people to Christ and to invest in the Kingdom ministry. In 1999, God brought my family (wife, Eva; and two daughters, Doris and Chara) to America. We have been serving at Chinese Baptist Church since 2000. |
